Browsershots makes screenshots of your web design in different browsers. It is a free open-source online service created by Johann C. Rocholl. When you submit your web address, it will be added to the job queue. A number of distributed computers will open your website in their browser. Then they will make screenshots and upload them to the central server here.
I love this tool because I can easily take a quick view of how my layout is rendering in the various browsers that I am concerned about. For me this includes Firefox, Chrome, IE, Safari, and Netscape. While sometimes it takes a while for them all to process through the queue, it saves me from attempting to run stand-alone versions of IE, and taking up my pc’s space with other browsers I would only have installed for this very purpose, for testing. The only other drawback I have found with this is that you cannot use this to test the functionality of your build, of course.
